WHAT IS PASAE?
PASAE is the only statewide association solely dedicated to advancing and representing the community of association and nonprofit business.
Vision Statement:
PASAE will be perceived and function as THE Pennsylvania organization to join by ANY association committed to advancing excellence and innovation in the practice of leading edge association management. PASAE will elevate the status of associations and their professionals to be highly regarded corporate and community citizens providing extraordinary benefit to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, its communities and citizens.
Mission Statement:
PASAE will serve as THE resource for Pennsylvania's community of association management teams and any companies interested in conducting business with associations as well as a catalyst for professional development and "e-customer relationship management" by the individuals comprising each management team.
Remember: Your PASAE Membership remains in effect for a full 12 months, regardless of what time of year you join the organization!
WHAT DOES PASAE DO?
Professional Development
Professional Development Seminars (9 per year)
Topic-specific programs designed to provide state-of the-art updates on issues of concern to members including technology, governance, best practices, marketing, etc.
Association Orientation Program (1 per year)
A primer on how associations function, what factors drive their decision-making, and how each staff position affects the whole
Annual Convention and Trade Show
Bringing Pennsylvania’s association and nonprofit communities together for a day of fun and learning
CAE Study Groups & CMP Study Groups
Networking
Networking Luncheons (10 per year)
These gatherings bring Association and Business Members together to network and form professional relationships that lead to better business for both categories of members.
Roundtables (2 – 4 per year)
Defined by your function within your association, these size-limited programs will provide collegial networking and shared learning convened in a confidential environment. Programs will include CEO Roundtable, Education/Meeting Planner Roundtable, Membership Roundtable and Communications Roundtable.

A direct response to a major need members identified, www.pasae.org launched November 2002 exclusively provides members with a virtual network with their colleagues from throughout Pennsylvania. When members log on, they have access to an online membership directory, discussion groups, and member resource section that will enhance business relationships for association and business members alike.
Annual Special Event
PASAE holds a special networking event each year to raise funds for the PASAE Foundation. The Foundation was formed recently to assist members with future needs. This year's event was the River Walk 'N' Cruise, held October 16, at City Island, Harrisburg.
Summer Outing
The August 6, 2008, Summer Outing will include golf, a visit to the Spa at the Hotel Hershey, a day at Hershey Park, a team-building activity, and a professional development session.
